I went for an inspection for my registration renewal last year. They told me that my taillights needed to be replaced and quoted a few hundred dollars for the parts and labor. When I said I couldn't afford that they tried to sell me a LOAN and a CREDIT CARD. I bought the tail lights myself for about $50 and put it together in a few minutes. Got my inspection done elsewhere.

Hello Breyos, Glad to hear you were able to get it fixed yourself! Also, please understand that as a business we need to mark up the parts that we install on our customers vehicles in order to stay in business. We always encourage folks to take care of work that is within their abilities, but also understand that not everyone has your aptitude. As for the loan, this is a third party offering that we have incorporated to help customers that don’t have the means today to help take care of important repairs to prevent breakdown or unsafe conditions with their cars. Our apologies if our offer offended you. Best of luck going forward! David

My experience with Carolina Car Care was really great. I was able to request an appointment online for my inspection, and received email confirmation of my appointment in less than 24 hours. The staff members were friendly and professional. Bottom line, it was a very positive experience and I will definitely return there. If you want more detail, read on. I was wary of how the inspection would go at Carolina Car Care due to some negative experiences at another business, but I needn't have worried. They found a nail in my tire, and instead of telling me that I needed a new tire, they offered to patch it for less than $20. Then, after the nail was removed, they found that the nail had not punctured the inner liner and didn't need anything done. They could easily have told me that it needed to be repaired or replaced, and I never would have known. I am not a stupid person by any means, but I am not car savvy, so I'm really at the mercy of whoever I take my car to. The place I had been using for a decade started to require new wiper blades every year in order to pass me, and on one occasion, did not put enough oil in my car after a change. The last straw was requiring a brake job before finishing the inspection, which I later learned was completely unnecessary. Because of their honesty with my tire situation, I now feel that Carolina Car Care is trustworthy and I will not hesitate to use them again.

I visited this establishment to get a diagnostic check on my car. Jason was very detailed when explaining my car's issues,(breaking down every step in a way that was easy to understand). They even provided me with a full detailed & thorough inspection report. I appreciated the great customer service and will definitely return to this company for future car inspections. Thank you Carolina Care Team!

I have been a returning customer for 2 years, who they continue to take advantage and over charge me every time. I knew they would over charge but the convenience of the location for me being in college helped me out tremendously. But I will never go back there again. I dropped my car off this past week, I had specific instructions on what needed to be done to my car and told the man at the front desk. I had a back left tail light out that needed a new bulb (easy fix right, just pop a new one in) but that was never the case. I pick up my car about 3 hours later with a bill of about $700, for an oil change, inspection, light bulb and power steering fix. They charged me 5 hours and over $500 in labor for 3 hours of work. I understand mechanics make money while working ahead and being efficient. But if you’re going to charge over $500 of labor. You would think your car would be fixed right??? No. They charged me for 3 bulbs they never put in. My tail light was still out when I picked it up and had to come back the next day at 8am to confront them about it. Of course they just act like it was a bad bulb or something. I know they never replaced it and definitely didn’t replace “3” other bulbs. And this isn’t the first time they’ve said they fixed something and it still doesn’t work. I’m starting to think about all the things I have paid for over the years that never got done to my car. It’s just sad to have a company you’ve been going to for years now continue to screw you over and take hundreds of dollars from you. Again, I used them for the convenience factor in my personal situation but I would recommend no one go there. They take advantage of you and charge outrageous prices for stuff they don’t even do. It’s just a poorly ran business with terrible customer loyalty.

Went in late Friday to see if they could work me in for routine service. I did not expect them to have room, but they worked me in and got the job done. I much appreciate their help.

Convenient and trustworthy. I continue to have run-ins with the service department of the Honda dealership. I am grateful for someone to trust who is taking care of my car instead.
